In the May 2016 issue of Greenwich Magazine, Westport House, along with our Director of Business Development and a current resident, were profiled in their feature article: “Heroin: An Epidemic Too Close to Home”.

This lengthy  article depicts the struggle and ultimate success of current Westport House resident, Adam* while interweaving the history of the opiate epidemic in the United States, current statistics from Fairfield county and Connecticut as a whole, and brief profiles of others who have successfully been treated for their heroin addictions, including our own Molly Ashcroft, Director of Business Development.

Insight from leaders in addiction services offer hope and meaning while a Fairfield county resource guide provides a list of programs and services that can help.
